Easter Photos and a bit of digression.

Easter has long been a favorite holiday of mine, before I even became a Christian. Spring is my FAVORITE season and includes my birthday (which is on Friday!!!).

After becoming born again, this holiday has taken on such a deeper meaning for me. It has become more personal and more special. I won't share my testimony unless someone asks, but the meaning of Easter is something that is very near and dear to my heart (and I am sure I am not alone here).

Even if you don't believe or think I am full of beans...JC died for YOU. Try to remember that when you stuff your face full of Peeps or you bite the face off a chocolate bunny.

DIGRESSION OVER

Okay...so as an Easter gift to Milo(thank you Nana and Papa), Mr. Smith found some Thomas the Train stuff on eBay for a song. We set it up the night before, along with his handmade Easter basket (thanks Mom!) and some candy-filled eggs. I was hoping he'd collect the eggs (bawk-bawks) and then go play with trains (choochoos).
Nope.

Yes-he does sleep with cars. Yes-he took zero notice of the eggs and rushed to the train set. The photos are so blurry because he is fast.

While the boys played trains, I read them this (the resurrection story):
And tried not to cry.
Then after church and Milo's nap we went to Nana and Papa Smith's house where Milo got MORE cars. Sally and Fillmore from the movie Cars, if you're interested. He literally didn't put them down for days.
Have a good day everyone! Tune in tomorrow for the beginning of the Something Project!!!!

  1. The thing I never understood is what peeps, eggs and bunnies have to do with the resurrection of JC.
